Dr. "Hurricane Hal" Needham
Dr. Hurricane Hal is an award-winning extreme weather and disaster scientist. He runs U-Surge, the international storm surge database, and has been going into hurricanes for 16 years to conduct research. Among those hurricane chases, is a crazy story of him obtaining key air pressure data at the Mayan ruins of Tulum, in the jungles of Yucatan, Mexico, to confirm intensification of Hurricane Grace in 2021.
